Bucket Truck Operator w/Fall Arrest

Equipment Operator Training Topics include: elements of a visual and operational daily inspection, principles of safe operation of equipment, machine operator safety, stability of the bucket truck during set up, hazard recognition, accident avoidance and emergency and rescue procedures. Participants will also review the Occupational Health & Safety Act in order to understand their legal responsibilities as an operator.  

Digger Derrick Operator (RBD) (No PSE)

Equipment Operator Training Topics include: Hazard analysis, legislative review, elements of the visual and operational inspection, including attachments and slings. A basic machine operator setup procedure will be discussed, safe use of the auger attachment, safe slinging, and rigging procedures, calculating the weight of a load and general safe work procedures.  

Electric Pallet Truck/Jack (Class 3) (No PSE)

Electric pallet truck, electric pallet jack, walkie, rider

Equipment Operator Training Topics include: elements of an effective lift truck program; safe operation of equipment, machine operator safety, determining classification of equipment; load handling, inspections and fuel safety.

Lift Truck/Fork Lift Operator Training (No PSE)

Lift Truck Refresher Training (Experienced Operators ONLY)

elements of a visual and operational daily inspection, principles of safe operation, operation around pedestrian traffic, stability of the lift truck, safe battery and/or fuel tank exchange, hazards when refueling diesel tanks, hazard recognition and accident avoidance, including topics required under CSA Standard B335, for the safe operation of equipment.

Mobile Crane Training (Up to 8T)

elements of a visual and operational daily inspection, principles of safe operation of equipment, rigging safety, types of hitches and equipment, lifting and landing loads safety, load stability, hazard recognition and accident avoidance. Participants will also review the Occupational Health & Safety Act and CSA Standards in order to understand their legal responsibilities as machine operators.  

Skid Steer Operator

Equipment Operator Training Topics include: elements of a visual and operational daily inspection, principles of safe operation of equipment, machine operator safety, legislative requirements and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are reviewed. We will present various machine specifications, vehicle and load stability, and procedures for safe loading, unloading and traveling with loads. We discuss the importance of working safely around pedestrians, proper excavating and leveling practices and common causes of workplace accidents and fatalities using a skid steer.
